Introducing the Qcharger fully power managed battery charging unit which provides safe and easy charging for the external batteries of Samsung Q1 Ultra Mobile Personnel Computer (UMPC).

Every Qcharger™ is configured to suit a specific battery type, with a maximum capacity of 8 batteries. In this version, the Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC.

Predominantly designed to charge Li-lon or “Smart” batteries with internal control circuits the Qcharger™ can also charge standard battery types.

The Qcharger™ incorporates an LCD display which indicates the type of battery being charged, its state of health and any warnings should a battery in a particular bay require re-calibrating. Visualisation of the charging process is also enhanced by colour coded LED indicators which display the status for each
individual battery bay.

The Qcharger™ automatically reads from a “Smart“ battery if it requires re-calibration. This is indicated to the user via the LEDs and LCD display. The battery can then be moved to bay 1 where it can be discharged and recharged to perform a re-calibration. This process is called “conditioning”.

An excellent feature of the Qcharger™ is that it is factory upgradable. This means that if a user no longer uses the battery type that the unit was initially configured for, it can be easy upgraded to support the new battery type. This makes the Qcharger™ extremely cost effective and adds to its longevity.
